Corey Doak
No Sudden Movements, the fifth CD by singer/songwriter Corey Doak is a collection of folk/gospel songs with an experimental edge-almost half of which were written spontaneously in the studio. The album was produced in the basement of award winning artist-turned producer Curtis Tulman (The Cruzeros).

The result is an organic, travelling minstrel feel reminiscent of classic folksters such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Cockburn and James Taylor, but there is an element of artistic expression similar to bands such as Coldplay, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley.

This is the second release from Deep Roots Recordings, a Kelowna based community of independent artists headed up by Doak. This ever-evolving artist's most recent album 'Light on the Darkest Line' was nominated for multiple Western Canadian Music Awards, Covenant Awards, and Okanagan Music Awards. Follow up for the album included a television appearance on 100 Huntley Street, a 5 week tour of Lithuania and Latvia, performances in Toronto, the Maritimes and the Western United States.
